Caring About Kids, Inc., is a private charitable group that helps foster kids in Ingham County by providing funding for things that are not paid for by other sources.

The needs of foster children are varied ranging from dental care to simple things such as tennis shoes for sports. Most come to foster care with nothing more than a few belongings in a paper bag. Caring About Kids, Inc., provides money for Christmas gifts, sports activities, music lessons, summer camp experience, instruments, etc.

Our mission is to provide foster children with meaningful gifts that are unique to the individual needs of each child by working in partnership with caregivers and case managers, who identify the specific needs of a child; to educate the community about the plight of foster children; and to raise the monies to support these needs by scheduling fundraisers and obtaining donations from the community.  

With your help, we can create brighter lives for foster children and give foster children a reason to celebrate!
